Chengxi Taylor
AI Founder. Angel Investor. Founder of SEEN.
Chengxi Taylor is a London-based technologist and founder working across AI, business and culture.
She is Co-founder & President of AI research company General Reasoning, where she drives the company’s growth by bringing together talent, investment and strategic partnerships to accelerate frontier AI. She has led deals with leading tech companies, including Meta and Google DeepMind.
Before General Reasoning, Chengxi founded four technology companies with 10 years’ experience of turning cutting-edge tech into real-world products and businesses. Across 3D printing, AR and AI, she's working towards a long-term mission: using frontier tech to expand human capability. 3D printing freed creativity from manufacturing constraints; AR freed digital experience from the screen; and AI now expands the boundaries of intelligence and agency.
She holds an Oxford MBA and the CFA qualification. Alongside her work in AI, she is an angel investor backing AI companies that tackle civilisation-scale challenges (learn more at SixND). She also serves as Co-chair of the Oxford Saïd Alumnae Leaders Group and founded SEEN, a cultural platform connecting technology, culture, business and ideas.
Founder Essays
Founder Essay is where Chengxi writes in creative formats from inside the process of building AI, with a focus on how intelligence is changing around us.
These essays are not only about technology. They ask a more personal question: as intelligence takes new forms around us, how do we understand ourselves, our responsibilities and the future we are helping to create?
BECOMING

Chapter I: If AI Can Do Everything, Who Do We Become?
Chapter II: Finding Myself Between Worlds.
SEEN
SEEN is a cultural platform founded by Chengxi for creatives working across technology, culture, business and ideas.
It has two formats: a podcast for multidisciplinary conversations, and selective gatherings for creatives thinking seriously about technology, culture and what comes next.
Through conversations, salon dinners and editorial gatherings, SEEN brings together founders, creators, technologists, artists and thinkers.
SEEN is not a traditional networking club. It is a space for considered dialogue, cultural depth and meaningful connection.
