Chengxi Taylor
AI Founder | Angel Investor | Founder of SEEN
Chengxi Taylor is a London-based technologist working across AI, business and culture.
She is Co-founder & President of AI research company General Reasoning, where she brings together investment and strategic partnerships to accelerate frontier AI. She has led deals with Meta and Google DeepMind.
Before General Reasoning, Chengxi founded four tech companies with 10 years’ experience of turning cutting-edge tech into real-world products. Across 3D printing, AR and AI, she's working towards a long-term mission: using frontier tech to expand human capability. 3D printing freed creativity from manufacturing constraints; AR freed digital experience from the screen; and AI now expands the boundaries of intelligence.
She holds an Oxford MBA and the CFA qualification. She is an angel investor backing AI companies that tackle civilisation-scale challenges (learn more at SixND), and founder of SEEN, a cultural platform connecting tech, culture, business and ideas.
Founder Essays
Founder Essay is where Chengxi writes from inside the process of building AI, with a focus on a personal question: as intelligence takes new forms around us, how do we understand ourselves, our responsibilities and the future we are helping to create?
BECOMING
A four-part film essay by Chengxi Taylor.
Walking among ancient architecture, nature and modern London city, Chengxi explores an enduring question across human civilisation: what it means to remain human in a world of expanding intelligence.
SEEN
SEEN is a cultural platform founded by Chengxi, bringing together voices across tech, culture, business and ideas.
Not a traditional networking club, SEEN is a space for cultural depth and meaningful connection. It takes two forms: SEEN by Chengxi Taylor, a podcast for interdisciplinary conversations, and curated gatherings. Through SEEN, Chengxi convenes technologists, artists and thinkers to challenge inherited assumptions and imagine new possibilities for how we live and create.
