Chengxi Taylor

AI Founder. Cultural Thinker. Founder of SEEN.

Chengxi Taylor is a London-based technologist and founder working across AI, business and culture.

She is Co-Founder & President of General Reasoning, an AI research company training models to work, communicate and coordinate over long horizons.

Before General Reasoning, Chengxi founded and led four technology companies across 3D printing, augmented reality and computer vision, bringing more than a decade of experience turning early-stage technologies into real-world products and companies.

She holds an Oxford MBA and the CFA qualification. Alongside her work in AI, she serves as Co-chair of the Oxford Saïd Alumnae Leaders Group and founded SEEN, a cultural platform connecting technology, art and human perspective.

Founder Field Notes

Founder Field Notes is where Chengxi writes from inside the process of building AI, with a focus on how intelligence is changing around us.

Her notes look at artificial intelligence alongside human judgement, creativity, intelligence in nature, and the collective intelligence that emerges when people, systems and societies interact.

These notes are not only about technology. They ask a more personal question: as intelligence takes new forms around us, how do we understand ourselves, our responsibilities and the future we are helping to create?

SEEN

SEEN is a cultural platform founded by Chengxi for women working across technology, art, business and ideas.

It has two formats: a podcast for multidisciplinary conversations, and selective gatherings for women thinking seriously about technology, culture and what comes next.

Through conversations, salon dinners and editorial gatherings, SEEN brings together founders, creators, technologists, artists and thinkers.

SEEN is not a traditional networking club. It is a space for considered dialogue, cultural depth and meaningful connection.
