“I love building things from scratch, with a touch of rebellion and defiance of limits.”

Chengxi Taylor is a tech founder living in London.

Born in a mountain near Tibet and shaped by seven years in New York before coming to Oxford, she believes true innovation starts by breaking boundaries.

Projects

Quiet work. Steady progress. A mind devoted to what’s next.

Chengxi Taylor is a London-based technologist and founder working at the intersection of AI, poetic systems, and human intuition. Her work transforms complex technologies into accessible, emotionally resonant ideas.

Born near the mountains of Tibet, Chengxi’s early worldview was shaped by a deep relationship to nature, language, and systems that couldn’t always be seen. After seven years in New York - where she worked in finance and earned her CFA certification - she went on to complete her MBA at Oxford, with a focus on the ethical potential of deep tech.

Over the past eight years, Chengxi has built series of early-stage ventures as founder and CEO - many experimental by nature, each revealing something about what it means to build with care:

  • Satori (Founder & CEO) - built a large-format 3D printer aimed at making advanced prototyping more accessible in medicine and engineering

  • Miiji (Co-founder & CEO) - designed a high-fidelity facial expression tracking system built outside the limitations of hardware

  • Kirin (Co-founder & CEO) - developed text-to-3D diffusion models enabling language to become form

  • MyMiniFactory (CEO) - led the world’s second largest platforms for guaranteed 3D printable objects

  • L’Essayeur (Co-founder & CEO) - launched a personal jewelry brand featured in Vogue and debuted at London Fashion Week

Previous ventures served as iterative foundations to refine her vision. She is now Co-founder and President of General Reasoning, a London-based AI company focused on reinforcement learning and agent environment. Her vision is to build universal artificial intelligence.

For Chengxi, innovation is not just about building faster - it’s about asking better questions.

VALUES

Human. Intuitive. Balanced.

I build technology that sounds like a person, not a system. I believe intuition and empathy are just as intelligent as logic. They complete it. The way women often think (perceptive, relational, emotionally fluent) brings something essential to innovation. Real progress isn't about perfection. It moves in waves, adapts, feels human.

Our humanity isn't a bug. It's the feature.

MISSION

Change how we approach AI: build AI with intuition and humanize intelligence.

VISION

A future where technology learns from all of us: the logical and the intuitive, the analytical and the emotional. Where machines help us care more, create more, connect more deeply.

Where we measure progress by what matters, not just by what's fast.
